Historic England is looking for a motivated and experienced designer to join the team. Collectively we have a passion to create digital experiences that users just love. As the public body that champion`s England`s historic environment, we help people understand, value and care for a diverse range of cultural records from the stone-age to the contemporary. We also continue to support English Heritage through a shared services agreement, as they manage a range of historic places across the country as a charity.
As part of a team with skills in UX, design and development you will develop the Historic England website - how the site works and how it looks. While you will have input in all areas of the digital offer you will principally focus on the appearance and design of our main offer, the Historic England website.
You will have experience of designing a range of work for differing audiences across desktop and mobile with some exciting work in your portfolio.
