Expenditure in 2017-18

The Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission for England's (HBMCE) expenditure in 2017-18 was £108.9 million, comprising £89.1 million received in Grant in Aid from the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS), and £16.7 million generated through our own commercial and fundraising activities. The difference relates to releases of accruals and provisions from previous years.
