23 to 27 Bedford Street, Woburn, Bedfordshire

A row of Bedford Estate cottages erected by the 7th Duke of Bedford and dated 1850. It was common for wealthy landowners to build cottages for people who worked for them. The Dukes of Bedford constructed roughly 500 cottages in this locality between the late 1840s and 1914. They were all built in a similar style.
