A cell in Holloway Prison, Parkhurst Road, London

A privilege cell in 'F' wing, Holloway Prison. The prison was built in 1852 on the 'separate system' (i.e. prisoners were kept in solitary confinement). This portion of the prison was demolished and rebuilt in the 1970s.
