Council Chamber, Sheffield Town Hall, Pinstone Street, South Yorkshire

The Town Hall was built between 1890 and 1897, and so was not quite finished when this picture was taken in 1896. A Renaissance Revival style was chosen for the building and its décor. In 1923 the Town Hall was extended using the same styling.
