The inside of a single bedroom looking towards two doorways. The bed only just fits into the room with its sloping ceiling and beams. The room would have been thought of as very old fashioned in the 1960s. The photograph of the King and Queen shows George VI and his wife Elizabeth (mother of Queen Elizabeth II) when they were young. George VI was king from 1936 until he died in 1952.
