Donnington Castle, Newbury, Berkshire

The Great Gatehouse, a three storey building with two round towers projecting from the main body of the castle. The castle, built in 1386 by Sir Richard de Abbesbury, is now mostly ruins. This site is now in the care of English Heritage (2010).
