Great Hall, Hatfield House, Hatfield, Hertfordshire

An interior view of the Great Hall in Hatfield House. The house was built by Robert Cecil, first Earl of Salisbury, in 1607-12 at a cost of £40,000. It incorporates part of the former Royal Palace in its construction where Elizabeth I spent much of her childhood.
