Medieval Merchant's House, 58 French Street, Southampton, Hampshire

The interior of the hall in the Medieval Merchant's House in Southampton, showing the stairs to the first floor bedrooms. The hall was built as both the business place and residence of a weathy merchant, John Fortin, in circa 1290. The property is now in the care of English Heritage (2010).
