Widnes and Runcorn Transporter Bridge, Widnes, Cheshire

View of the Widnes and Runcorn Transporter Bridge from the shore. It was opened in 1905 and was the largest bridge of this type ever. It was demolished after 1961 when a new high level road bridge was built.
