G.V. II Includes No. 2 Todmorden Road (east side). Toll house. c.1824. Hammer-dressed watershot stone with graduated stone slate roof. 2 bays and 2 storeys, the right corner being canted. Door to left (No. 2) has square-cut surround. Two C20 casement windows on each floor in original square-cut surrounds. Similar door to canted side which has a blocked tarriff recess on the upper floor. Similar window openings to side and rear. Small addition to rear. Basement access in right return. Ridge chimney stack.
