7/11 Nos. 8 and 10 (The Malt Cottage). 31/3/1976 (Formerly listed as Nos. 2, 4 and 6)

GV II

Formerly 3 now 2 cottages: later C18. White-washed and rendered with black-painted stone dressings. Kerridge stone-slate roof and 3 rendered chimneys. The cottages are at a slight angle. 2 storeys over basement. 3-light, horizontal, sliding sashes with glazing bars under cambered rusticated heads in basement and ground floor. Similar heads over C20 board doors approached by stone steps and iron banisters. To the sides and rear most windows are C20 alterations.
