Church of St Mary, Upleadon - Forest of Dean

Small parish church; C12, C15, C18, restored 1850, 1879 by Ewan Christian; vestry added 1884. West tower is close-studded timber-framed tower, brick nogged, on squared, coursed stone plinth: with pyramidal slate roof. Nave sandstone ashlar with south entrance porch, lower east chancel with projecting north vestry. All with graduated stone slate roofs. The timber frame has patches of decay and some stone slates are slipping.
