Church of St Edward King and Martyr, Goathurst - Sedgemoor

Anglican parish church. Predominantly C14, with C15; C19 work, including restoration of 1884. Rubble, freestone dressings, slate roofs, chancel, nave with south porch and south chapel, west tower. Two bay narrow nave, with C15 wagon roof chancel with late C19 wagon roof; early C17 north chapel with C17 canopied tomb and monuments to Halswell family. The church has sufferd from heritage crime in early 2020, and monuments inside are vulnerable to further damage.
