Church of St John of Beverley, Salton - Ryedale

A complete Norman church consisting of tower, nave and chancel, although built over more than one campaign. The church was restored by Charles Hodgson Fowler in 1881. The north slope of the chancel roof, the drainage and the tower and spire are in poor condition. Repairs started in 2018, supported by a Heritage Lottery Fund Grant for Places of Worship.
