Church of St Leonard, Church Lane, Holwell, Ab Kettleby - Melton
Single cell simply church dating occupying elevated position and dating from C13. Nave and chancel under a pitched roof with dripping eaves. Walls of coursed squared ironstone and limestone. The church was subject to heritage crime in 2019. The church has recovered roofs in 2022 with the help of an Historic England Covid-19 Emergency Heritage at Risk Response Fund award in 2020. Historic England additionally provided technical advice regarding re-roofing. Re-ordering proposals are being prepared.
