Church of St Mary and St Laurence, The Street, Great Bricett - Mid Suffolk
Formerly the monastic church of the Priory of St Leonard, founded 1114-19. The Prior's Lodgings and remains of the cloister also survive. The walls are much early, possibly original fabric with traces of medieval wall paintings and decoration. Tiled roofs in poor condition and leaking. A programme of repairs has been completed, assisted by funding from the National Heritage Lottery Fund.
