Church of St Mary, Church Row, Childrey - Vale of White Horse

Early C13 nave, late C13 chancel, early C14 transepts, early C15 west tower. Coursed rubble, nave walls rendered, limestone ashlar to west wall of tower; limestone dressings and buttresses; stone slate roof. Cruciform plan with west tower. Geometric, Decorated and Perpendicular styles. The roof to the transept is in need of replacement and has only a temporary roof. A grant has been accepted from the Heritage Lottery Fund Grants for Places of Worship and works should commence in 2018.
