Church of St Michael, Alnham - Northumberland (UA)

St Michael's has a nave with west bellcote, chancel, transepts and a south porch. It dates largely to the late-C12/early-C13, but there are Saxon stones at the north-east and south-east corners of the nave. The building was restored in 1870. There is some internal water ingress due to problems with the stone-slated roofs and related roof details. Rainwater gutters and pipes also need overhauling. Funding has been awarded, through the Heritage Lottery Fund Grants for Places of Worship scheme, to allow a programme of repairs to be completed in 2018.
