Church of St Michael, Penwerris, Falmouth - Cornwall (UA)

A large suburban parish church fronting the estuary north of Falmouth. It was built in 1827 to the design of R Grout and has remained substantially unaltered since. A Heritage Lottery Fund and Historic England Repair Grant for Places of Worship was offered for roof repairs and this was completed in 2012. However, work is still needed to the timber windows which are progressively decaying and the building has been subject to heritage crime.
