Church of St Mary, Stokesby Road, Mautby - Great Yarmouth
An early C14 parish church, known as Thrigby church. Restored 1896. Flint with ashlar dressings and brick repairs. Plain tiles to nave and slate to chancel. Structural movement affecting the chancel is a matter for concern. The base of the Tower has been fenced off amid concerns of stonework falling off the south belfry opening. The mullion is missing and the tracery stonework is precarious. The Chancel roof covering is failing, high-level mortar joints are open, flintwork and buttresses are locally poor.
