Cusgarne Manor farmhouse and mounting block to rear, Higher Cusgarne, Gwennap - Cornwall (UA)

Early C17 manor farmhouse, possibly with earlier origins, remodelled in early C18 and preserving important windows from that date. The building had been in decline for a considerable time before being sold at auction in late 2015 in a very dilapidated condition. Discussions have taken place with regards the refurbishment and repair proposals, with particular focus on the traditional scantle slate roof and early sash windows, both being particularly vulnerable. Repairs to the roof and windows were underway in 2017. Ongoing discussions with owners and agents 2018 to verify extent of repairs.
