Christ Church, Montpelier, Weston-Super-Mare - North Somerset (UA)

The church is said to date from 1855 with a number of extensions and alterations in the late C19. These include the building of the chancel and installation of clerestory windows. The list description refers to an enlargement in 1878 by Hans Price. In 2006 the Spire Centre extension was built on the north side. The high level stonework to the tower and spire is eroding and there is corroding embedded ironwork. Heritage Lottery Fund Grant for Places of Worship accepted and repairs to spire and tower due to be completed by the end of 2018.
