Weycroft Manor and Weycroft Well House, Axminster - East Devon

Circa C16 and possibly earlier, coursed stone with shingle roof and coped gable ends. C18 interior stair and panelling and overmantle painting of hunting scene. Wing known as Well House has chamfered ceiling beams and fireplace bressumer with painting over first floor door. Fire in March 2020 has burnt through the roof with damage to the interior of both Weycroft Manor and Well House. As of May 2020 a temporary roof has been installed to protect the building.
