Church of All Saints, Church Lane, Old Buckenham - Breckland

Church with C12 origins and round tower partly rebuilt in C14 and restored in 1858. Widespread loss of pointing to brickwork of tower upper stage and some fall of flint rubble from stage below. North slope of thatched nave roof shows thinning and some sagging plus quite shallow oversailing detail at eaves. Tower repairs completed but leakage at junction of chancel and nave roofs. Thatch on south nave slope now slipping and is in need of replacement. Important Medieval fabric at risk internally. The National Lottery Heritage Fund has awarded a grant in 2019.
