Church of St Paul, Church Street, Brierley - Barnsley

A small Victorian church with west tower, 1869 by John Wade. Built of coursed, squared sandstone with a graduated slate roof. The tower was repaired a few years ago. The stone eaves gutters to the nave and chancel are leaking and there is significant water damage to the lower stonework. A Heritage Lottery Fund Grant for Places of Worship is supporting repairs, which started in 2018.
