Church of the Ascension, Ascension Road, Salford - Salford
Church by Medland Taylor, built 1869. A devastating fire in February 2017 burnt out the roofs and floors and damaged the sandstone arcade columns, but much of the masonry remains intact. The church plays an important role in the local community and the intention is to rebuild.
