Church of St Mary, Black Street, Martham - Great Yarmouth
West tower late C14, nave and aisles mid C15, chancel 1456-69 by Robert Everard. Chancel demolished and rebuilt 1855-61 by Philip Boyce and remainder of church restored. The nave has defective roofing and rainwater goods. A National Lottery Heritage Fund Grants for Places of Worship grant was accepted 2017, with repair works to include re-covering of nave roof, repairing clerestories and renewal of rainwater goods. Work completed. Occasional leak in south aisle roof.
