Church of St Swithin, Church Road, Bicker - Boston

Parish church C12 to C16, restored 1876-1911. Limestone ashlar construction with truncated nave, central tower and chancel with clerestory and aisles. Several roofs are nearing the end of their life and water is penetrating the interior. The rainwater goods require attention and there are isolated stone repairs required to the tower. The church has been subject to heritage crime. A National Lottery Heritage Fund Heritage Grant was awarded mid-2019 to address the roof repairs. Works were due to complete late-2020. A Heritage at Risk re-assessment is required when Covid 19 restrictions allow.
