Church of St Denys, Main Street, Goadby Marwood, Eaton - Melton

St Denys comprises an early C14 nave and three-stage west tower; mid C14 chancel and C13 north aisle with later re-workings. A Repair Grant for Places of Worship part funded the renewal of roof coverings and the structural repair of the vestry roof and the repair of south aisle coverings in 2012. A second phase of roof repairs to renew south aisle coverings was subsequently undertaken. The church has since been subject to heritage crime in 2019, with subsequent repairs completed in 2020. A Heritage at Risk re-assessment is required when Covid 19 restrictions allow.
