Church of St Andrew, Church Walk, Billing, Billing - Northampton

Church dating from C12 with C13-14 phases. The church was partially rebuilt after 1759, further restoration took place in 1867 by EF Law. Constructed from course stone rubble with the exception of the North Chapel which is ashlar. The church has been the subject of Heritage Crime. Temporary roof coverings are in place on a number of roofs. Water is penetrating the interior of the building. Some localised repointing is necessary. A National Lottery Heritage Fund Heritage Grant was awarded in Spring 2019 to repair the roofs. Repairs are anticipated to start late 2019.
