Church of St Margaret, Church Street, Stratton St. Margaret - Swindon (UA)

Large parish church now within the northern suburbs of Swindon. Consists of nave, chancel, north aisle, north vestry (an extension of the aisle), south aisle with two-storey south porch and two-stage west tower. C13 origins, C19 low two-stage west tower. The stone slating to the roofs of the porch, chancel and south slope of the south aisle roofs are in poor condition. National Lottery Heritage Fund Grant for Places of Worship offered in 2017 for roof repairs. Works are due to be completed in 2019.
