Former Police Barracks, Haslar Gunboat Yard - Gosport

Former Police Barracks constructed at the entrance to Haslar Gunboat Yard in the mid C19. Mainly built of red brick with limestone dressings beneath a hipped slate roof. Vacant and at risk due to extensive badger burrowing and very poor condition of roof structure, roof coverings, rainwater disposal, windows, doors, floors and internal finishes. Historic England grant aided new owners to provide a Conservation Management Plan, temporary roof and Feasibility Study. New uses identified and funding sources being investigated.
