Star of the East Public House, 805 and 805A, Commercial Road E14 - Tower Hamlets

Originally one building although now occupied as two (805A is a public house and 805 is residential). It has three storeys of red brick and tile with a central hipped slate roof. The public house is currently empty and boarded up. Enforcement notices have been served on both owners for front façade improvements, including the lamp standards. Discussions between the owners and the Local Authority regarding its future use are ongoing.
