Former Wealdstone Police Station, High Street HA3 - Harrow
Former police station with magistrates' court, later part library and then entirely a police station. Built in 1908-9 by J Dixon Butler in Free Tudor style. The building has been empty since 2015 and is currently boarded up and secure after illegal entry by squatters in 2016. Applications were refused in 2016 and 2017 for a proposed new use with extensions and new buildings, and an appeal was dismissed in 2018. A new application for reuse of the building was approved in 2019 and applications to clear the conditions attached to this were submitted in early 2020 and are under consideration.
