Church of St Breaca, Churchtown, Breage - Cornwall (UA)

Large rural parish church. Three parallel aisles with a three-stage west tower, projecting south porch, and north and south chapels. Rebuilt c1466 mostly in granite ashlar. Slate roofs. Crenellated tower parapets with large corner pinnacles corbelled out. Tower has C19 roof with unlined parapet gutters draining to gargoyle shoots. Steeplejack survey shows two of the pinnacles are in urgent need of stabilisation. A Heritage Lottery Fund Grant application for the repair has been developed.
