Church of St Andrew, High Street, Cherry Hinton, Cambridge - Cambridge

Parish church dating from late C12. The chancel is C13 with good internal wall arcading. Rebuilt nave and aisles and west tower with Norman arch. Flint rubble and Barnack stone construction with freestone dressings. Restored and rebuilt by Gilbert Scott in1880. There is extensive saturated internal plaster, which is preventing drying out of the masonry. Heritage Lottery Fund Grants for Places of Worship grant accepted Autumn 2017.
