Church of St Michael, Camden Road, Camden NW1 - Camden
The nave and aisles were built in1881, designed by GF Bodley and T Garner; the chancel was added in 1894 and the vestries in1908. The church has undergone structural and stonework repair, re-roofing and drainage works. New electrical and lighting installations were completed in 2016, grant-aided by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. In 2020 Historic England awarded a Covid-19 Emergency Heritage at Risk grant which, with additional fundraising, saw the repair of the nave painted ceiling where water damage had resulted in flaking paint. Interior fabric remains in need of attention.
