Church of St Andrew, Church Road, Redlingfield - Mid Suffolk

Parish church dating back to C14. Chancel rebuilt c1800. Formerly the church to Redlingfield Nunnery. The stump of the tower is of red brick with diaper work in dark header bricks and above is a timber framed belfry probably C16 date. Much medieval pointing externally. Some cementitious plaster internally, Harbouring damp. Excess moisture in and under the walls has caused pew platforms on the south side of the church to sink. A Minor Repair Grant from the Taylor Review Pilot was received in 2019 to help repair stonework, windows, holes in the masonry and flint stonewall, and rainwater goods.
