Church of St Peter, The Square, Ugborough - South Hams

Large parish church, dubbed 'The Cathedral of the South Hams'. The north aisle roof has become porous allowing significant water ingress, threatening the integrity of medieval carved roof bosses. The congregation has completed a phase of repair with a National Lottery Heritage Fund Grant for Places of Worship but the church remains very damp. Further works are required, particularly to address penetrating damp in the tower and at the east end.
