Parish Church of St Andrew, Trent - West Dorset

Medieval church with a richly decorated interior. There is internal damp, and structural work to the tower and spire is needed. The church also has important and high quality medieval and Victorian window glass, some of which is showing signs of structural instability and paint detachment. A trial of isothermal glazing has taken place with positive results and advice was provided by Historic England in 2015 regarding formal application of this approach to create a more controlled and stable climate. The congregation is seeking funding for the agreed glazing works.
