Lower Loggia and attached Balustrading and Steps 150 metres west of Shrubland Hall, Coddenham - Mid Suffolk
Loggia, balustrading and steps c1850; part of the landscaping works by Sir Charles Barry for Sir WF Middleton. White limestone. The loggia is in the form of a Roman temple. Condition of decorative stonework is declining and suffering from vandalism. Historic England is actively working with the owner and the Local Authority and discussions are ongoing.
