Newbold College (formerly Moor Close), Binfield - Bracknell Forest (UA)

Moor Close estate, now the home of Newbold College, was Oliver Hill's first commission in an early C20 Arts and Crafts style. Divided into several sections the garden and its setting will be affected by development and infrastructure proposals within the Local Plan, some of which has now been approved. The garden's built fabric has deteriorated and after a condition survey and some limited site repairs further resources are needed to manage change so that the significance of design, structural fabric and setting may best be considered to restrict further loss of historic design integrity.
