Combe Bank, Brasted / Sundridge with Ide Hill - Sevenoaks

A classical landscape garden and small park surrounding a palladian villa associated with some of the greatest artistic exponents of the early pictureque movement. Sold and divided up the house and gardens becaming a school in 1924. Numerous remant built features survive in varying condition in the gardens which suffered considerable storm damage in 1987. Bissected by the M25, development, fragmentation of ownership and management is a threat. A partnership project to deliver a Conservation Management Plan is required to help understanding and management of the park and garden's significance.
