Roche Old Court, Winterslow - Wiltshire (UA)

Roche Old Court is as an example of an unusually high-status late C17 farmhouse that is characteristic of the domestic architectural style of the period. It is the principal building in the farmstead group that includes the C17 barn and C18 stables, that by the early C19 formed part of the new Roche Court (Grade II*) estate of Francis Thomas Egerton Esq. The house is in a deteriorated state but has recently been sold to a new owner who proposes restoration and repair of the property, permission has been granted in August 2023.
