Standing cross known as Bottom Cross, Linby - Gedling

A standing cross comprising a stepped base, socket stone and shaft surmounted by a capital and cross head. A culvert runs underneath the cross and is included in the scheduling. There are concerns over the corroded metal lintel at the opening of the culvert and there is a dislodged stone at the back of the culvert. Cracks are also evident on the stone steps. A Historic England Section 17 Management Agreement has been issued to assist with the repairs.
