Woolladon Farmhouse, Meeth - West Devon
Farmhouse. Dated 1666 and part of an unaltered farm complex. Plastered cob walls. Gable ended thatched roof. Three-room and through-passage plan, outshut and stairs, two-storey porch and adjoining outshut in front of lower end of hall. The property was a remarkably interesting single phase plan surviving unaltered since the C17 with much original internal joinery intact. A thatch fire in 2019 left extensive damage. New owner is progressing phased repairs in liaison with the local authority and Historic England.
