Capitol Bingo and Social Club, Churchfield Lane - Nottingham, City of (UA)

Cinema, now Zionist Church.1936-37 by Reginald Cooper. Red brick and reconstituted stone construction. Auditorium retains most of its original features. The roof is in poor condition and needs recovering, rainwater dispersal also needs to be addressed. Some emergency repairs to stabilise the buildings condition were completed with an Historic England Repair Grant. Water continues to penetrate the interior is causing damage to the remarkable fibrous plasterwork. A National Lottery Heritage Fund Development Phase project has commenced, it is hoped a Delievery Phase project will follow.
