Gatehouse to Charing Archbishops Palace, Market Place, Charing - Ashford

Remains of gatehouse to former manor house of the Archbishops of Canterbury and adjoining Porter's Lodge built within the gatehouse range of the C14. The Porter's Lodge [cottage] has been repaired and the ruined gatehouse section is being converted to a residential accommodation. Future options for the whole site are also under discussion.
