Former Weedon Barracks, Outer Walls to Magazine Enclosure, Bridge Street, Weedon Bec - Daventry

Defensive walls with lean-to structures at east and west end of enclosure, early C19. Red brick in Flemish style with intermediate piers and moulded stone coping. Part of an extraordinary military complex built during the Napoleonic era. Brickwork is falling away and there has been some partial collapses to both lean-to structures. Vegetation is damging the brickwork further. The site has been underused for many years and was left in a poor condition. The current owner is considering development.
